Makruzz is the oldest private ferry run by MAK Logistics in the Andaman Seas. Since 2009, it has proudly served Andaman tourists for more than 15 years to the significant Andaman Islands: Havelock and Neil Islands. MAK operates 3 types of cruise ships: Makruzz 1 (280 passengers), Makruzz Gold (333 passengers), and Makruzz Pearl    (250 passengers), each offering two decks and for sitting categories: Royal class and Deluxe class with eight push-back seats in the private cabin and premium class and premium plus class on the lower deck with a window view.

Nautika Ferry

Initiated in 2002, Nautika is one of the fastest and reputed ferries operating on this route. With two fully AC decks and fully furnished upper and lower decks, Nautika accommodates 285 passengers in luxury and royal seating classes with the utmost comfort and style. It also has two vessels, Nautika and Nautika Lite, each providing passengers with refreshments, entertainment, and scenic seaside views.

ITT Majestic Ferry

As the name suggests, ITT Majestic is meant for luxurious customer service and a comfortable, quicker, and hassle-free journey. With two seating classes, silver and majesty, the ferry offers 200 seats along with AC decks, sea views on the front and side, extra leg space, and refreshments on board.

Green Ocean Ferry

Green Ocean cruise offers two vessels, each with distinct features and benefits. With an open deck, cafeteria area, and inbuilt music system, Green Ocean 1 offers seating and roaming space for tourists to enjoy picturesque island views, aquatic activities, and fresh air. It can accommodate 316 passengers in the royal luxury and Deluxe seating classes. Green Ocean 2, on the other hand, has no open deck area. It has 198 seats in total, offering fully AC decks in upper and lower decks with the same Royal luxury and Deluxe seating categories.

How to Board Havelock to Neil Island Ferry?

Follow the instructions below to board a ferry from Havelock Island to Neil Island. 

  • Hire a cab, scooter, bus, or tourist transport vehicle to reach Havelock jetty (Havelock ferry Ghat) to depart for Neil Island by taking any private or government ferry. 
  • It takes approximately 30 minutes from Radha Nagar beach and 20 minutes from Kala Patthar beach to reach Havelock Jetty. 
  • Arrive at the jetty at least 45 minutes to an hour before your scheduled departure time for check-in, security screening, and luggage drop-offs—boarding gates close 20 to 30 minutes before ferry departure. 
  • Keep your original identity proof and printed e-ticket handy.
  • Head to your ferry check-in counter, as there are different ferries docked in respective sections in the jetty area.
  • Proceed to the ferry operator’s counter to collect your boarding pass after presenting your documents. Your luggage will be screened through security and then proceed to the designated compartment behind the ferry. 
  • Enter the boarding gate, which is about a 10-minute walk from the entrance gate. 
  • Show your boarding pass to the ferry employee to board the ferry. 
  • Find your assigned seat as mentioned in your ticket. 
  • Enjoy AC cabins, a cafe, and restrooms whenever required while travelling. Take necessary seasickness medication before the journey, as the trip may be choppy.
